Its a good game and the recent update did help the level difficulty. The core game problem still remains, it crashes all the time for no reason and it wipes out your level progress. It doesnt do it in the first couple of rounds, noooo. It waits until you are at level 18 of 20 of a round you have never won, to crash you right back to the home screen. Fix that please, then worry about everything else. Thanks.

Fun game, in the spirit of Kingdom Rush. Obviously this game isnt epic like that title however. Graphics are good with some artistic twists. Gameplay is very solid, but could use some more tuning. The one primary downside is the progression of the levels. Early on you need to stop and buy the next levelset, otherwise he story stalls and youre stuck replaying previously completed levels at higher difficulty in order to progress. Id rather pay for a complete game. Regardless this game is fun, has some interesting features, but unless you spend in game, its a very short experience.

I gave this game a second try after the rather boring introductory levels.... Couldnt sleep over a Saturday and then spent the cash on the level unlocks subsequently.

Good challenge, nice graphics. Good looking tower upgrades.Reminds me of Kingdom Rush. Grind or use IAP, its your choice. Thats the way IAP should be. Hoping for more levels.

Great game! Involves a lot of strategy especially in the harder levels such as inferno or challenge mode . Would recommend to any TD buff. Also great graphics and loading screens!

Great game when it works but right now it wont let me press the play button to start the game :(

Evil Defenders has become my favourite iPad game, and my kids love it too. Aside from being great fun, I also like the fact that in app purchases arent pushed at all, and (with patience and skill) you can beat all the levels and difficulties without spending anything more than the initial purchase price.

Wont load past the start game button.. Might have to uninstall :(

Why cant I unlock the last two tower specialization?

Best tower defence out there hands down. It doesnt matter how old you are, this game is amazing. Lots of levels and upgrades for the many towers you can choose from. Visually appealing with almost no in-app purchases.

It would be 5 stars if it could pause a game for longer than 1 min.

Finally a free game that doesnt rely on in-app purchases. The games starts easy but becomes more challenging as you progress. Requires some strategic planning as opposed to just building and upgrading.

Everything you want in a tower defence game... just be warned you will never get the time back.
